Lyn helped my brother and I sell our father's condominium in downtown Savannah. We are both out of state and were hoping for someone to handle details on the ground in Savannah that we could not handle being so far away. No only is Lyn knowledgeable about the real estate market in Savannah, but she went above and beyond to help make our sale as smooth as possible. Lyn even returned Xfinity boxes for us! Lyn was exceptional communicating every step of the process with us and made the fact that we were hundreds of miles away a non issue. Lyn met and worked with my father's neighbors to facilitate a smooth transition. I cannot say enough positive things about Lyn or our experience working with her. My partner and I decided to make our dream of buying a beach house come true. A colleague who had moved to Savannah in the last few years recommended Lyn as an agent. She did not disappoint and truly exceeded our expectations. I can tell you that Lyn has an extensive knowledge about the area including unique markets such as Tybee; she has amazing solid local contacts that help make the buying process easy; she is responsive and honest and reliable. But what really sets Lyn apart is that she intuitively knows what you need as a client and a human. She knows when she needs to be a bull dog with the lender and knows when she needs to hold your hand and encourage you when you feel overwhelmed by the process. Words can not express how much you have done for me and my family. I have never had a real estate transaction go so smoothly from beginning to end. You made every single event simple nad drama free. From the day we met to the closing we just clicked. You knew exactly what I needed before I said it. First and foremost thank you for coming by Memorial Day weekend before you went out of town. We were in town last minute and you did not hesitate to come by when it was convientient for us. You already had reached out with the preliminary paperwork on the house when I reached out by email. I would literally email you and in 5 minutes you would reply with the needed information and researched items. The list just goes on and on with the may little things and big things you did for us while we were out of town. We did have family right around the corer but you knew I was responsible for this estate and you made sure all voices were heard but knew exactly what needed doing for the family. My mother would have loved you very much. She loved that house and was so proud of it. you were kind, funny, to the point, shared your thoughts and opinion but always let us decide what we wanted to do ultimately in the end. Your expertise showed in every aspect. You were professional and extremely knowledgeable on every point of selling the house, dealing with the estate and what was needed by the buyers as well. I love telling peopel we sold in ONE day, FULL ask and NO closing cost! I wish I could articulate to everyone how amazing you are but they will see that for their own once they list with you or buy from you. Amidst all of the struggles, challenges, and crises that have already befallen 2020, Lyn McCuen made it all go away for a little while. From listing to closing, Lyn was there for us. She dealt with all of the challenging personalities in my family, and treated each of us with nothing but the utmost respect. Lyn sold my elderly mother's home on Dutch Island. She is so much more than a realtor to us! It is such a difficult experience when it is time to leave your home due to not being able to care for yourself and live alone anymore. Lyn truly saved the day! Her people skills are superb and she was able to communicate with my mother in a way that allowed her to make the appropriate decisions she needed to make to move forward to the next phase of her life. She not only helped her stage her home and advertise the winning qualities of the home, found buyers to show the home to, networked with other realtors, negotiated a contract and all the other things a realtor does, but she also was persistently positive about my mom's need to sell her home and helped her through the entire emotional process of settling into an assisted living facility. She went far above and beyond the call of duty and her enthusiasm and encouragement made a huge difference in the quality of life for my mother. Once the house was sold she helped us find the appropriate professionals needed to get her moved and the home ready for the new owners. We are so thankful for the many extra things she did to make this experience less painful for my mom. Lyn is a wonderful person to work with! Lyn was excellent in every way imaginable. We just moved to Savannah and were renting a Condo for a few months while we looked around. Our landlord connected us with Lyn and from the moment we had our first meeting we knew Lyn was perfect for helping us find our home. She is a native Savannahian and knows so much about the area and its history. It was so fun riding around with her during our showings. She is so upbeat and has so many funny stories to tell. We met Lyn on January 2015 when we were looking into buying a second home that we decided would be in Savannah. First, we bought a condo on Jones Street, and decided to share it as a vacation rental. It was already a full-time rental, and we decided to wait until the end of the year to put our plans into motion. We came to Savannah as often as we could in 2015 (sometimes twice a month for a few days at a time). At that point we had already asked Lyn to keep an eye on the market for another rental property, and she found us a second condo, this time in the Victorian District, also with a long-term rental. By September we knew we were ready to commit to living in Savannah permanently, and Lyn found us our home in Gordonston.
Lyn educated us, expanding our perception of Savannah and sharing her knowledge of the city and Georgia. Her background as a tour guide made house-hunting an added pleasure. We are atill settling in our new home, but look forward to investing in a couple of properties in the near future, because we know we couldn´t be in better hands.
